Settlement of property in minors name

In 1951My grand father got patta settlement by zamindar.he was minor at that time . His father was alive .In patta no one has excepted on behalf of minor. Patta is rent free . Since then we r in position . My gf was died in 2008 and after that in 2010 a third party filed a title suite against us. Patta is vaild or not what will I have to do in TS

In your question you have not disclose that on what condition the land has been settled with your grand father on rent free basis or you have not disclose that what was the salami of said land or whether the patta was conditional, so that please furnish all the facts. However the patta valued below Rs,100/- is not required registration and the same is valid in law it is for your information if the patta is valued more than rs. 20/- revenue ticket is required .

I have read your question meticulously and need more clarification in your case because your case is purely based on settlement of patta by the Zamindar in your grand father. As per India Law and several Presidents of Supreme court avers that once the property has been vested by the Zamindar then that person would be the Raiyat ( Owner/ Landholder) of such land and no one can claim over that property.
