Remedy in case of slow proceedings in High Court in civil cases

it's been a year since i filed my case in ranchi high court. The opposition party was given one month time to file a reply after one hearing, that was 2 months ago. No replyhas been filed and it is costing my time. What are the established procedures i can take help of through my laywer to ensure that a proper hearing on my case takes place soon? What if the opposition deliberately tries to buy time and delay the case? Also for pending cases on which days of the week can i mention about the pending case?

I have right to file I.A petition before the Hon'ble High Court, Ranchi accompanied with Inpugned order's copy where one month time had been given to opposite party to file his reply and prays to fix the aforesaid case for early hearing.
