Regarding Re-location of Stray Dogs In a residential area.

03-May-2023 (In Civil Law)
Hello Sir/Madam, there was a recent incident in our society where some stray dogs (litter and the mother) were re-located with the help of some garbage cleaners, as the residents who are senior citizens were scared by the dogs constantly barking and growling, they can't peacefully walk at night due to these dogs and the litter growing up will only cause more problem. after relocating, some women in the society called an AWBI official and he threatened to put people involved in this behind bars via a police complaint immediately. it includes my uncle who is a 62 year old Retd. Govt Employee. the workers as well as my uncle are stressed due to this police threat. the puppies were got back due to the threat but one pup is missing and the official says get back all puppies or you'll will end up in jail. is this such a serious crime? is it a cog/non-cog. offence? and can my uncle end up in jail just for this? what can I do?

It is not an offence at all. You should not worry at all. However, you can file a case against the said police officer, under section 200 CrPC for threatening the elder member of the society in an illegal way during purporting his duty.
