Merely for the fact that your father has joined the profession will not snatch away your reservation in non creamy layer. It is the income slab that your father will have to cross for coming to creamy layer. The slab that was decided earlier in 2013 was Rs. 6,00,000/- per year, but the government in September, 2016 has decided to increase the slab to Rs. 8,00,000/-.
So you will have to see the annual earning of your father.

Non creamy layer certificate relates to the annual income, and in every state the limit of income to fall within the ambit of the non creamy layer is different. If your father's annual income is less than required limit then you can get the non creamy layer certificate.
