Nuisance due to illegal occupation of land by street vendors

09-Mar-2023 (In Civil Law)
Sir, I'm a Hindu & I have few shops all at one place like shopping complex & they are situated at main centre & beside of main road in my Village. And coming to my problem there is place left by Govt for pedestrians lane both sides of the main road. In the place between boundaries of my shops & main road some of the strange people occupied that illegally for their autos & rickshaws and we do not bothered for their acts. But now a few days back again some strangers are coming & establishing Tea Stalls etc., in front of our shops and we asked them to vacate them & they are not responding & instead blackmailing us that they belong to scheduled castes & other things. We are facing issues with them & it effecting more on the businesses of shop keepers who took our shops for lease. Can you please help & suggest now with this situation and how to face all them legally & quickly.

You can file a civil suit claiming your easementary rights over your property and thereby ask the vendors to leave the place.
