I'm in love with a girl and we both have 21 years of age and i'm about to complete 21 and step into 22 within 3 months. The girl is under the guidance of her relatives as her parents get expired. That guardians are not allowing her to go for her jobs and trying to marry her without the her consent. We both are planning to get settled in life and then marry. But as her guardians are not allowing her to do so she wants to get out from the house and start her carrier. Later on after attaining the marriage age we are planning to marry. Is there any legal problems which we have to face if we do so?
Dear Client,
According to you both attained majority. So both can marry. She must have courage to come to live with you. It is her personal feeling. If she is willing to live with you, she can. As she is major nobody can stop her from marrying you.

Yes, definitely you will face problems. Since she is under the custody of guardians, you cannot take her away from her house as she has not attained majority. The guardians will file abduction (kidnap) case against you. I can give you some idea. Ask your lover not to marry any other boy until she becomes 18 years of age. As soon as she completes 18 years, ask her to come to you. If the guardians force her to marry before attaining 18 years, you or anybody in the society can give a police complaint regarding that forced marriage.
HI,
The prohibition of Child Marriage Act states that a girl in India can't marry before 18 and boy can't marry before completing 21 years of age. As per law if the girl has attended 18 years then she is entitled to marry as her own wish as she has become major . You also have attained major now so you also can . As such both are major can marry.
