mothers brother not giving share any time limit for civil case

sir my mom filed a case against his brother before 3 years.. because his father is death but my mom's brother not giving her shares ...there are no any whill by her father. Now sir i want to know How long court take times for solve this civil case.. There are any time limit in civil case?? ?

Generally in 3-4 years matter can be decided, but all depends upon your lawyer and opposite party lawyer, what stands and objection they take and how fast your lawyer removes the objection..You need to give details like what is the stage n defence taken, stand of opposite party on will ect
