Listing date equation. Howto proceed ?

What if the respondent does not respond before the listing date will the case be in the favor of the appealant or will the court gives more time to respond to the respondent the respondent didn't appoint any vaca lath saying no vaca lath found

In general the respondents are expected to file their counter/written statement within 30 days from the date of receipt of summons from the court vide Order 8, Rule 1 of CPC.
However, for the reasons to be recorded in writing, the Court can extend the time of 30 days, but it shall not be beyond 90 days.
