Apart from evidence ...you are not required to appear in the court unless and until court orders so. The counsel engaged by you can proceed with the case. If you are unable to attend the court on a specific day. You can seek exemption for that specific date.

What kind of an error is it? How old are you? When was the error made? Who did you appeal from and against? ..... these are the kind of details I will need to respond to this query. Please feel free to set up a meeting with me through this platform.

In my opinion you should personally appear with documents, your duly authorised person with special power of attorney can appear but it would be in your interest to appear yourself. If I was your attorney I would have insisted on your presence.
