Is it possible to take action against minors for nuisance
22-Jul-2023 (In Civil Law)
There is an open space in front of my house. 5-6 grown up school children (age 14-17yrs) plays cricket there. There is always a probability of being hurt by the ball and many a time there were just miss. On objecting, the children and their parents simply ignored our concern and advised us to get back into the home and don't come out till their children are playing. There were quarrels in the past for the same reason.
With reference to your question raised i would first like to clarify that there is no exemption as such that is provided by law to either minor or their parents. Simply speaking an offence is an offence.
