Is giving of duplicate bill valid for reselling a phone.

I have purchased a phone from friend and after that i have sold it to other person given photocopy of bill without writting on photocopy of bill and i have only writen on photocopy of my id so both the copyies are legally if other creates a duplicate copy of that bill and make changes and then sold them to any other person
Given a photocopy of bill is not legal bill .it is not belief bill if any person can file suit or fir against you for charting,becouse your not given original bill is not given tham so your in problem.

one should write on copy of bill that he or she is selling this phone or with the copy of bill one can give a sale note writing separately on it that on such and such date he is selling this phone or giving gift to a person.

every transaction have to be with original documents . but if original is missing than the duplicate or photocopy of the documents can be use. As you mentioned in your query that you have sold out your phone to other person and he can make the change in the Bill, in my opinion if he made the change in copy of the Bill and using that as original than he will be liable for the offence under the section 420, 467 , 471 of the Indian Penal Code.
