How to handle 30 days of Stay in City under special marriage act

Hi, As per Special Marriage Act, any party which has applied to get married under Special Marriage Act has to stay for 30 days (minimum) in the district in which the application has been made. I am currently working in Malaysia and wanted to marry under Special Marriage Act since my Fiancee is Malaysian Citizen, however its very difficult for either of us to stay in India for 30 days continuous due to our work. Is there any other way to overcome this 30 days of limitation? Thanks

30days is mandatory.u may marry under the spl marriage act of the country if such law is available there.
How ever section 15 is important.Any marriage other than a marriage solemnized under this act may be registered under this act.get urself married in any other form there after get marriage registered. Entire facts not before me so in short.
