How to get stay on selling of mortgaged property by bank

Sir, i am defaulter of Rs. 1600000/- of cooperative bank, at Sonipat, Haryana. now, the urban cooperative bank issued proclamation of sale (under rule 63) against me for selling my mortgaged property. can i get stay on this document? if yes, from where? pls advise.............
Stay in such cases would be obtained from the civil court having jurisdiction over the house. However, the loan agreement with the bank will contain the terms that determine whether or not stay can be obtained. Hello .. Yes you can get the stay order from district court Sonipat against the order passed by cooperative bank.. I suggest you to appeal for stay order as early as you can....plz contact for further details.. Thank you
