How to get ST certificate from village when birth place another city

I have done my 10th,12th and graduation as a general category student, I have never made or applied for ST caste certificate. I am born in Delhi and currently living in Ghaziabad but my caste 'Kharwar' is ST caste of village Gazipur district, UP. I have my ancestral home in my village. Can I apply for ST caste certificate? Will there be any problems regarding that I am not born in my illage and have not lived there? Do I have to give my village address as my permanent address?
Definetly you can apply for Schedule Tribe certificate as its constitutional Right .As you belong to the notified schedule tribe category ,you could aporoach appropriate authority at Your ancestral village ,through which after verification you can get your schedule tribe caste certificate ,feel free to contact for further advice .
