Hiding previous employment can effect my present job

A applicant who is a gov't employee he don't inform he is in job to New office he want to resign the previous job and join the New job like a fresher can have any problem in future please reply

If you are planning to join any new job especially a Government job then they are bound to do background check. It would be better if you reveal your previous place of employment. Problem might arise if for applying for the Government job there are certain criterias with respect to work experience which you do or don't meet and have hidden full facts pertaining to it.
