You can give power of attorney to any of your friends or relatives who can attend and are conversant with the facts of your case. Your appearance here is not mandatory for civil cases. However if you have initiated any criminal action then your presence here is mandatory.

So you want to go to Chennai !! You have not told where you filed petitions, you have not stated which are those, and you want to remove them also?
If you know the numbers given to the petitions that you are referring to, tnem you have to withdraw them by filing memos.
