Do sisters have share in the house constructed by brother and father

25-Oct-2023 (In Civil Law)
My father in law and my husband jointly constructed a house in my father in law's ancestral property. My husband has shared 60% of the cost of construction. Now to transfer the house in my husband's name his 2 married sisters are asking money as settlement and my father in law is also telling to give some amount to the daughters. But my husband has given money for their marriage also. Should my husband have to give money to his sisters? do they have legal rights in the property? We are hindu family living in a small town in Tamilnadu.

Dear Madam, As per Hindu succession act, your husband and his sisters have equal right over the property Everyone should release their right to your husband. Your husband should give money to release their individual rights.

Your husband settle some minimum amount to sisters and get no objection from them for registration of property in your husbands name. if you need support then I can help you negotiating money with your husband's sisters family.
