Defendant did not give copy of documents

I m a plaintiff in a civil case. defendant's advocate intentionally not given copy of documents to me. But I want them before argument.. What I can do??? Or how I can put fact in front of court on day of argument....???
You can make an application to the court that you have not received the documents and hence cannot proceed with the arguments then the court can order the defendant to give you a copy of the documents required by you and give next date for the argument.
