Can married woman gift property to mother when her daughter are alive

I'm Sikh.myson lives in Australia . He and his wife and two daughters are Australian citizen.his wife was suffering with Cancer.australisn doc.declared her hopeless Case.. She was brought to India for treatment.here.whst is ourher mother got his property registered in her name.ignoring the right of minor children.what is our legal position.can the children claim theirs right

Owner of the property can transfer it to anybody. Only where the property is ancestoral; heirs can claim. Also, if the owner dies without will; heirs can claim.

Hello
Children have no right in property of parents till they live.means during life time of parents children do not have any right .case will be different if property is ancestor after life time proprty divided as per rights

Yes u can claim the right of minor child by filing a civil suit in court and as a guardian of child u can file a case to claim his share of property from the person who registered the property in her name.
