Can a case be restored after dismissal due to absence in court

My father's civil case was dismissed at Narsaraopeta court in the year 2000 due to his absence to the court and further showing as a cause his negligence. Actually due to his Govt. duties he is unable to attend the court. At present Can I restore the same? and my father was expired

You must furnish full particulars of the case. What is the nature of the civil suit. Who filed the civil suit against your father, what is the purpose of filing civil suit. If you furnish the full particulars advocates will give you correct answer or suggestion to you.

you need show the cause of the non appearance in the court and you need to file a set a side petition along with that you need to represent yourself as his legal hier/legal representative.with adding the death certificate to the petition
