Are rules imposed by the housing association applicable to residents

25-Nov-2023 (In Civil Law)
I am a tenant in a housing society in Chennai. The association have this stupid rule that visitor is not allowed after 6pm. If I am paying rent, and I am ready to take full responsibility of the person, what is their right to stop me. Please help how to legally approach this issue, and is it possible to take action against the association?

HELLO,

WHEN you have signed the rental agreement or your Owner has agreed for such a term and covenanted by the term of reference by the Association Bye-laws you are bound by that. I f you are not agreeing for that, they may ask your Owner to vacate you. This is govern by RENT CONTROL ACT.

For clarity pl. call me by mobile.
