There is no age limit to get admissions into LLB course, both 5 years and 3 years. The Bar Council of India had passed a resolution cum notification on 17.09.2016 prescribing the age limit for admissions into LLB courses (20 yrs for 5 years course and 30 yrs for 3 year course). However, the said notification of 17.09.2016 was challenged in the Hon'ble Supreme Court and the Hon'ble Supreme Court by an order dated 03.03.2017 has stayed the operation of the notification. Thus, there is at present, no age limit. The matter will be heard in the month of July, 2017 which will decide the age limit of admissions into LLB courses.
