Wife took children together to in laws and skipping school. What to do

My wife took my 7 years old school going girl and 3 years old another girl child with her to my in laws house. My school going child is not brought to school from last one month and not even shown to me . Exams are starting from nov 28 but i dont think they will bring her to school. A domestic violence complaint case against me and my parents will start in court from 10th december. I want my child should come for exams as her one year will be lost. How can we bring her to exams?
You have to file a Petition in aCivil Court of competent jurisdiction for custody of the children under Guardianship and Wards Act.
