wife is not appearing before court for child custody matter

I already filed the child custody case which is Court my wife is working for SBI she is working with some other branch outside Tamil Nadu but she left the child with the her mother custody the case is more than 5 months but they are getting wider ther a're not appearing in the court .. is it anything we can do on this.
in this case you can request the court to do the ex parte orders. Such orders are done when the opposite party does not appear. You can hire a good lawyer and file an application for the ex parte orders. Most of the time the order will be in your favor
