What are legal rights for son 3yrs old custody ?

hi, We are married for 4yrs. Engaged in Aurangabad, Married in Kerala and were living in Chennai for 4yrs now. Wife elope with her father in the pretext of vacation with 3yr old son and sent divorce notice after 20days spending vacation, Also mentioned DV and dowry harassment in notice. I spoke for compromise but they aren't allowing. Now in-law are not allowing me to see my son or speak to him over phone.
