In inter caste marriage if mother is from lower caste and father from upper caste, then what will be the caste of child. father is living with her other wife which is allowed according to the custom. But now father is now accepting the child from his first wife. can a child claim his mother's caste.
The caste of the father is always taken in consideration , so the child will acquire the caste of the father.
