Want to file case but do not have address proof of that person

hello Sir/madam, i have received a cheque of dormant account (by online sale). Person came to my place and issued cheque. This person is unknown and don't know his address and other details. only information i have is his ph no & branch and bank of Cheque please advice how to proceed now

Firstly you are saying you made a sale through online means that you have his address (I mean you may send the product through courier/ any other way) if you don't have the address then you have an option to go and file a complaint in P.S of your limits, and also made a complaint to cyber department P.S and got it registered.
