13-May-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
I have my own industrial business. 3 years back, I gave material worth Rs.70000 to a trader in Satna, Madhya Pradesh. It's been 3 Years and he isn't giving the money back. I have his bounce cheque details. Can I send a legal notice to the person for the same?

As it's being 3 years and for recovery there is a limitation of 3 years only under order 37. Make your case under this limitation period.
You are also saying that cheque has been bounced by you against him. So send him legal notice within 30 days of memo received. And also file for recovery on beased of the cheque amount you are having.
Feel free to contact me in rrgard.
Best of luck

Yes you can send a notice through an advocate u/s 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. However that is only if the bank memos depicting the reason for dishonor of the cheques are not older than 30 days. Otherwise you can still send a legal notice through a counsel for recovery of money.
