Notice received under section 138 what should i do now

Sir, I took loan from private person ₹ 150000 in may2015 gavr blank cheques and payed ₹ 7500 monthly interest my husband underwent open heart surgery in august2016 I am suffering with financial problem and stopped giving interest now notice under 138(b) was given IAM only livelihood of my family please help me and give me legal advice

Dear Madam,
Yourself have given blank cheques and they were dishonoured for whatever reason, now they registered case under section 138 of NEgotiable Instrument Act, the only thing you can do that you have to contest the case with the help of an Advocate.

They might of deposited the cheques given by you and got it bounced and hence would have issued notice in that regard under section 138. you need to suitably reply for the same.

If the notice is not replied within 15 days then they can file a cheque bounce case against you

If you have records for paying Rs. 7500 monthly interest and stopped giving interest you better settle the matter with the lender asking for further time to repay.
If you are unable to pay due to financial problems, you can file for insolvency .
