Lender did not deposit the cheque on time resulting in cheque bounce

i take 300000 rs with 10percent pm from mishra in june 2016,and i give cheque 4 lakh with 3 month intrest. but she not deposit cheqeu in oct. but she deposit in jan 2017 that time no fund in my a/c.she give me advocet notice with 4 lakh, but persnolly demanding 555000 lakh what i do

hello, i have been through your query and i think that yes you can respond to the notice and fight the case a per 138 negotiable instruments act case which may please be noted! and revert back for complex understanding

you need to reply that notice through advocate saying you are ready to pay Rs. 3 Lakhs but cant pay the compensation as there was a delay from her side. ....

Dear client if she deposit cheque after 90 days in bank then she cannot file case under sec 138 of n i act. She have to file civil case for recovery of money. If she file cheque within 90 days then she can file case under sec 138 of n i act. For any legal help call me
