legal recourse against fraud done by issuance of blank cheque

My mother borrowed rs 50000 from a person and gave him blank signed Cheque now the person is demanding rs 5lakhs from us against that Cheque what should we do now

Just file a police complaint for black mail otherwise he is deposited the same and file a complaint for recovery of the same before the court for recovery. And court will punishes your mother. Take recovery

Actually it is not a fraud because you voluntarily gave blank cheque to him and it is totally suicidal kind of act. If you have recieved the legal notice then make a reply to that legal notice that no loan has been taken for amount mentioned in cheque. There is material alteration in cheque. He has not authorise the drawee to fill the details. And alongwith please make a proper complaint in the police station of your jurisdiction about the matter.

Sir?, Such things are common now a days . Needy people easily use to give blank cheques to their borrowers which are latter on
misused by money lenders. But now the courts are also cautious about this facts. The money lenders has to prove the source of money. If he paid your mother five lakhs then he must have the the source. Apart from that many other things which are relevant for case under u/s 138 n.i act

U send a legal notice by denied the high amount he clamed huge amount u make a police complaint against him.including some blank papers signed and some cheques with assurance bank loan manage by him or his associates

At the time received the amount of Rs.50,000/- your mother give any receipt or signed any other papers . Your mother have photocopy of blank signed cheque . what is date month of borrowed money of Rs.50,000/- For More information , pls contact me at my personal office/Chamber or my mobile .
