legal action on cheque bounce

i had a cheque bounced in feb 2016. Till when can i file a case to get my money?
Firstly cheque validity is for 3 months and I think 3 months have been completed so now it's difficult to file a case and when cheque is bounced u have to send notice within 15 days and within 30 days case have to be filled.

You have got late since validity of cheque after being dated is three months n it is too late. Next legal notice is to b served within 30 days of cheque dishonour again you are late. Third cheque dishonour case is legally not allowed now any way.
Only remedy available to you is civil recovery suit n. On which you can recover your money.
