How can I get my refund for half balance in check bounce case.
15-Oct-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
In May 2, 2016 I put check of 8000 in my bank. That was bounced by reason insufficient balance in payers acc. When inquired he gave irrelevant answers but he returned half money in my account within 20 days from bounce. But half money yet not returned till 6 months passes by giving false commitment like aaj deta hu, kal deposit karta hu.. any help as assisting lawer would be expensive for 4000 rs. Please help

Kindly send him a legal notice for recovery of your money. There is no point hiring a lawyer for such small amount. Once he receives the legal notice he should pay your amount else you can file a suit for recovery of money.
