If I opt for 138NI,how much time/expenses it will take? Pl advice
Dear Sir,
As the cheque has bounced you need to send a legal notice to begin with within stipulated time to the person. then within 30 days of sending the notice you can file a case under section 138 NI act against the person.
time period is not defined but varies from matter to matter. it is somewhere from 3 months to 2 years.
