Cousin gave 3 blank cheques for building his hotel, now not paying me

I 'm civil building contractor and I have constructed one hotel building for my cousin and he had some financial problems while doing construction and he requested to complete the project and also he had given blank cheques and andiment papers to me once he get payment from him he will settle my bill payment,but I don't have such amount so he told that take hand loan from outside and help. And further my one of my friend has given 15 laks and balance we took gold loan and finished his Project, after several months he refused to pay the amount . so please tell me further what small I do , how can I file cheque bounce case against him.

No time, hurry to get justice and encash the cheques in courts by way of filing cases. If you make delay you may not get even a penny from him and moreover it will be precedent for others to chose same path. Think twice and work out.

The validity of the cheque is three months so you can present it before due date to take legal action. If the cheque is not honoured the Bank will issue an endorsement and we have to send legal notice within 30 days of dishonour, and then file case within 15 days of legal notice.

you can present the cheque and get the endorsement from the bank and send a legal notice, after getting the reply you can file a case under NI Act. 138 he will come to the court and return your money with penalty.

fill the blank chenque given by him and deposit in bank. once cheque bounced, send a legal notice to him demanding money. after waiting for a period as per statutory requirement lodge cheque bounce case against him in appropriate jurisdictional court. contact us for better opinion
