Cheque bounced for Rs 10k. What to do next?

The person has taken money from me and he has given me 10k but that too he had bounce the cheque. From last 4 months he is doing the same
You have to file a recovery suit under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act. Secondly the validity of cheque is also over. If you can prove offence of cheating you can lodge complaint under section 420 of Indian Penal Code

First send notice under Sec138 of NI Act if he fails to return money within 15 days then you can file case against him. For more details contact me , we he has issued chque, is it within limitation
