Cheque Bounce case of Rs. 2,00,000

I have taken hand loan Rs 2L from my friend and i have given my signed cheque leaf for assurance.I couldn't arrange money to friend to given cheque date. My friend drafted the cheque and he had bounced cheque details.now he is going to take legal action against me. Please help me that how to manage this situation ?

Before he gives you notice you give notice not to prrsent cheque to bank and later take paper publication notice defending it later police complaint and consult advocatr and consult them take advice and do it

You have to contest the case by engaging an advocate and there is no other go. As you have given your signed cheque you are liable to pay the amount but by contesting the case at court you may get some time extension to repay the amount as case may go on for one year at least. On every hearing date you have to be present at court otherwise warrant will be issued against you and there is a chance of arrest. otherwise go for settlement on first hearing at the court by repaying it file the joint memo through the help of your advocate by discussing the same with complainant and his lawyer. Consult advocate immediately . You will receive legal notice then court summons if you fail to pay the same.
