Cheque bounce case filed due to non fulfilment of agreement

myself signed a loan agreement for 14lakh.in the agreement it is written--"receipt whereof the the partay hereby admits and acknowledge".after signing agreemnt the person did not make the payment and failed to show me any proof of giving the money except the above line in agreement.also there is no witness in the agreement.i have not taken any cash as i cant take more than 20000.00 in cash as per IT rule.the lender submitted my given cheque and it was bounced as i did not get any proof of giving me the money.he has now filed cheque bounce suit.lender from asansol and i stay at kolkata. how can i defend.

When u have signed the agreement it is presumed that u have taken the money but u have to prove and satisfy the court that u have not been paid. Case can be filed any where at the jurisdiction of drawee / drawer bank .
