check issued by me has bounced, how to get extension of one month

How can I save myself. I need one month time to clear the payment. Due to demonetization I could not deposit money in the bank.
as you have issued the cheque which has bounced, have you received any notice from the party to whom you had issued the cheque? if yes kindly reply to the notice through a lawyer. Or directly speak to the person whom you had issued the cheque and ask him for time.
