A company issued a notice for cheque bounce

A company has issued a notice U/s 138 on me for bouncing a cheque. Kindly let me know what i should be doing.

Dear client u can reply notice through lawyer and can deny for giving the money. After that company will file case under sec 138 of negotiable instrument act in court and court will issue summons to u. Then u can put yr side before court. For any legal help call me

you have to give reply of the same but you can also ignore it and face the trial in the future. your purpose should be defined first whether you want to prolong the matter or you are willing to settle the matter at early stage. Accordingly we can proceed

Without knowing all the facts of your case it is not possible to answer your query. However the first step if it is advocates notice is to reply to the notice thru a advocate stating your defence.
