hello client hru,
i have read your question which is about your fathers property as cash in bank account as well as in locker if it is there linked with the account,in this matter you have to go through the processes of law on inheritance from parents to children,in this case first i have see what documentation you all are having with you as well as i have to know any will is there or not,
thanks.

First check if the bank account has a nominee. The nominee will succeed to the bank account and the amount. The legal heirs can then share the total amount as per law. In case there isn't one you will have to produce the death certificate to the bank. The bank may also demand a succession certificate in this regard.

The claim of the money will be given to the person who was mentioned as nominee by your deceased father. If he has nominated someone after his death that person will get it. Find out with your bank branch.
