Trader cheated didnt share profits only losses how to recover money

Big following trader on XX, who claimed to be doing trading for YYY in derivative segment, and claimed as highly profitable. I contacted him through message and get on call then. He told me the capital requirement and we discussed the trade startegy, risks and limit of maximum losses. When he started he made huge losses as he went for making profit as he has profit share, i confronted and he promised me the recovery of losses and shortfalls he will pay out. I trusted and he made further losses by doing risky trade, against our agreement. He falsely told that he wil recover again. And need few days break. And after that he refused to to do any further. i sent him a letter for refunding my losses or taking legal action. He first agreed and then said he is poor now have no money and whatever he has written on social sites is fake. He then told me he will not refund as he discussed with some lawyer.What should I do?
