Missed EMI of the personal loan taken now bank harassing

Dear Lawrato, I have personal loans from hdfc & scb -to date I have paid my Emis on time and had a credit score of 770+ -- I have lost my job last 2 months and have defaulted on my emis - I did speak to bank officials & credit managers- instead of helping they have started harassing me by sending agents - given the scenario , i am unable to negotiate payment plan with the bank. - I am considering filing for personal bankruptcy - I know the implications are terrible but guess it is better to restart my life rather than get into depression , harassment & eventual suicide Pls advice

Immediately after loosing the job for about 2 month, you may not able to file Chapter 7 bankruptcy. I can clearly understand that your present problem is to deal recovery agents amicably. Recovery agents can not visit your home/workplace without any proper notice and can not harass you through mobile calls as well. If they continue to do so, you may file criminal complaint against the bank in near by police station.
Note - You need to act quickly to before the banks take any action against you.
