Friend took money and gave a notarized public affidavit

My friend got money from me for business purpose. For surity he gave only recive amount witness Notary public affidavit bond. He told that he will return within few months but he not give the money still now. So how I get money please give me some legal advise
File suit for recovery of money, what are u waiting for. File criminal case also against the fellow, follow up with the prosecution on action take to recover money. So do not waste time on getting advise from various advocates.

You will be having proof for the money given to him and also the receipt/acceptance bond issued by him. I presume you paid the money through cheque/DD/bank transfer, you have the option of approaching the civil court by filing a civil suit for recovery to recover the money. Also, you can approach the police and prefer a complaint against your friend for cheating but criminal prosecution will end up (if found guilty) in punishing the accused but won't recover your money.
