Extension of Probation Period how to solve

I am working in a PSB as probationary officer . My probation period in bank has been extended for one year without any intimation . I did not receive any negative feedback or chargesheet /memo during entire probation period . I was informed about extension about 7 month after due date of confirmation . Is there any legal procedure to resolve this issue ?
I feel that your question is incomplete because u have not disclosed what was the probationary period given in your appointment letter. Whether any reason assigned in the the letter for extension thereof. However u can raise all your objections through the proper channel within the department, even though if they are unheard, better u approach to the High Court by way of filing the writ petition. Without any cogent reason probation period cannot be extended, if extended, it is illegal. In your case as u mentioned that there is no adverse remark on CR etc., meaning thereby your track record is good in such circumstances there is all probability that u will succeed in the matter.
