24-Feb-2023 (In Banking / Finance Law)
Hi sir, Need your advice alot as it link with my career. I am working in MNC. And here we have 3 momth notice period and I got the the better opportunity somewhere else. I do not have good bonding with my manager. My manager is totally against me and asking me to serve the 3 month notice period otherwise she wil block the relieving letter. I need to join other company in 45 day. So I am ready to serve the 45 days notice period but she is not ready to relive me. How can I get my relieving letter without serving the 3 month notice period..? HR is also not supporting me..
If your offer letter which contains terms and conditions requires you to serve a mandatory 3 month notice period then you'll have to serve it. However it is unusual for a company to have a 3 month notice period. It is better if you can make a copy of your offer letter available, so that after reading you can advised if there is any way of getting around it. Let me know if you have any further clarification or doubt. Good luck!
