Bank changed my loan to restructured loan without any notice

16-Jun-2023 (In Banking / Finance Law)
I have taken a home loan of 875000 front ICICI bank in the year 2006 and my EMI is 9763 rs till date .I came to know that ICICI bank has sent RESTRUCTURED LOAN against my home loan status. And because of this my educational loan has been rejected. I sent them many mails but they have not answered me.I have never asked for any restructuring of my loan.Whenever there is a cheque bounce or overude they have taken money for that. Fro banking ombudsman I got a reply which is got disposed, under Complainant advised that complaint is not maintainable: BOS requirement not met: No representation made

HI
ICICI cannot restructure the loan worst still they cannot do that without sending notice to u. It is sad that u r education loan has been rejected the only alternative will be for u to send a legal notice for mental agony and compensation if they don't comply u r demand in the notice then file a consumer case for unfair trade practise, mental agony and compensation.

Hi,

Bank has the right to do that, But they should have received notification on this. This action by bank would lead, your money/any property with them can be sold without consent from you. Banking ombudsman does not resolve your issue. The only way, you need to send legal notice to Bank to remove your name from CIBIL.

would like to discuss more on this issue before suggesting proper solution.

Thanks,
