Is my father eligible for pension

18-Jun-2023 (In Armed Forces Tribunal Law)
My father was medical board out in Jan,1979 from Navy with 80% medical disability as I PUNS(I am not sure for full form). he served with Indian Navy as Sailor for 6 years and 4 months. Medical people drop him at home that time and no benefits for pension/medical etc. provided to him till now. Please advise , He is considering to file a case now to get all Ex-Service man benefits including pension, medical etc.

Hi, You have provided the minimum information about the case, you have to share his Medical documents about his invaliding and attributability of his disease to the service. The second aspect is that the case is very old and delay of action is about 37 years. But I am hopeful if you share some medical documents I will be able to tell you the correct picture of your case. However on the face of it, I feel as per current policy your father is entitled to medical pension along with other ESM benefits. Regards
