I am a battle casualty. Can i ask for my choice of station?

im a battle casualty gravely injured in a terrorist attack in Kabul in 2010 on active duty. i have 80% permanent physical disability due to deep burns and resultant contractures over hands,legs and face. im posted at base hospital delhi cantt as medical specialist since 2011.i belong to delhi an have taken up a case for extended tenure in delhi as i feel incapable of living independently without family support i have been posted to Lucknow and asked to move there is a policy on posting of gravely disabled battle casualty jcos/ors to choice station till superanuation.can i ask for same legally?

We can comment on your query after examining your policy.

However on human grounds, you can request them to post you at the desired place where you can work from.

In case they refuse then you can always move to the Court under Article 21 of Indian Constitution thereby seeking for your rights
