How to apply for pension from indian army

My brother served 16 years in indian army as a soilder . But in last few months he get a torcher from his wife so he cant join back his duty and he was anounced deserter by his unit . Can he get his pension and all benifits ?

Deserters are usually not entitled to pension as they are dismissed without benefits. However, in some cases President may order pension and other benefits to be paid.
You are advised to submit an appeal to the Record Office concerned and on denial you may challenge the order in AFT f there are sufficient mitigating circumstances brought to the notice of the army and the same are rejected.

Hi your brother need to join back his duties. He can not get pension as long as he remained deserter. He also need to apply for discharge from service. He requires correct advice otherwise he may loose out many benefits. You may consult for further advice. Regds
